Here at LucraLux Marketing, we’re very big on productivity and efficiency. One of the ways we achieve this is through project/task management. Our favourite tool for this job (we’ve tested a bunch of them!) is Asana. It has a pretty straightforward interface, and makes managing tasks and teams a cinch. It’s also great for internal team communication. What makes it even better? It is extremely simple to use!
Here are some of the key features:
Tasks
Tasks are activities you need to complete or things you need to remember. Asana allows you to easily create tasks for yourself or assign one to a teammate. Asana also allows you to organise tasks in three different groups: Today, Upcoming, or Later.
Subtasks
Subtasks allow you to break up the work of a task into smaller parts or divide the work among multiple people.
Projects
Projects are a list of tasks in Asana. They allow you to organise tasks according to initiatives, meetings, and programs. You can decide how you prefer to structure your tasks, based on your workflow/preferences.
The Inbox
Asana’s inbox shows you all the activity on tasks you’re following.
Due Dates
Asana’s due dates ensure that your tasks get completed on time. When tasks are overdue, they are highlighted in red.
